The Confused Soul??

Have you ever been confused? If the answer is no...then consider yourself one of the most unluckiest person on earth.

Many times the term 'confusion' is viewed as a negative word which alotta ppl wanna avoid rite? But personally, me being a confused soul(most of the time!) have learnt sooo much from life...i mean..life has so much to offer and we have so little time to absorb all of that giving. Confusion in my terms is not knowing which choice to make...which makes us blessed little ones right?? LOL

Well strictly speaking...our confusion is always not over good things(like which car shall i drive today...the Benz or the BMW?) but mostly its about tough choices in life....we have to choose between friends and family on a Saturday night...or we have to choose between whether to date a person or not to..so on and do forth.

Take for example me..I'm usually a quick decider(mainly coz i lack patience) and I'm happy with whatever Im stuck for...or rather I make it work that thing which I'm stuck with...but often times...i have faced situations where i don't know what to do or where to turn to coz i'm afraid that there are people out there waiting to judge me....

But however much we complain...when we take out the things that make us human(i.e troubles and temptations) where is the spice of life?

So live life to the fullest...be happy that your breathing instead of complaining what an ugly room you have...and be rejoice that your gifted enough to consciously control your thoughts coz 10% of the world's population does not even have their brain functioning like you and me!

Lost??......anyone??

Heylooo peeps!! yes it has been 10 million light years since i last wrote right?? i know, i know!!!!! *throws air in surrender*
Whats been happening in the life of the girl in silk?? well...alot actually...

For starters..lets say i move homes...oh almost forgot...i found a new home in a new country! Yep...Australia..its a fun country actually...till u decide to commute through public transport with little knowledge about how the buses work!!!!!!

YES! i 'kinda' got lost at this place called Blacktown...i had to go there for a drivers' test...and everyone was working..so i decided to take the bus(since ive been living here for the past 20 years or so)...and so i look it all up on the internet..write directions and set off in a swing...and then 15 mins later..i was running up and down every bus platform trying to snake my way through people who ALL seemed to know where they were going except for mee!!

Anyways...thanks to my literacy knowledge...i found my way to right bus platform got into the right bus(thankfully) and got to the place i was meant to go right on time for my appointment!

But the whole point of this travel?? .....well now i know exactly how to get to and fro from that place....which is a good thing you know! So im quite proud of myself now!! hahah

And for another...everything has directions and boards with proper signs...and thankfully no idiot has actually gone and put up his election poster or hate poster on those signs...(Unlike 'some' countries! lol)

Future...here i come!

Whoa...its been a long time since i last wrote! seems like a millions years! lol..(not really maybe!)....its coz i have been quite busy with setting up my new life in a new place...Australia!!! Not that im totally done with all the setting up but im a bit more relaxed these days!!

Its funny...new place, new people, new food and new EVERYTHING!!! I still seem to like the getting used to thing part...its totally fun and ive been learning new things! (like how to operate the vending machines!! ROFL.) naa just kidding......but yea i have been learning new things and how to stand by myself....

Just yesterday i was searching the web for jobs around Sydney and i found a couple of nice ones but then for some weird reason i was scared...i was thinking...'omg..what if i do something wrong?...will be totally screwed?'....its a scary thought coz i hate being yelled at but i guess when you join the workforce thats totally inevitable! *sad face*

Anyhow....i was thinking about friends and how i have to go over the process of getting to know new people and all! wow...i'm going to be starting from the square 1!! damn! but funny how my thinking has changed over the years...coz now im looking at house prices and car prices and that sorta things! *scary actually* but yea...i wish i wasnt getting older unfortunately I AM!

Oh well...im still looking forward for a new start in my new home...and so far i have been liking the start! :))

Oh Australia...LOL!!

So..i have very few days left here in my beloved home country and i was thinking....'What kind of country is Australia?'....well yea i do know all the basic boring stuff like whos the PM and all..but you know...what are the 'weird' facts about this country that im about to spend the rest of my life in?? (or so i hope to! lol)...so here are some funny ones i found rite:

1. Apparently the first European settlers in Australia drank more alcohol per person than any other community in the history of mankind!!! (oh boy...!)

2. Australia has the world's largest population of wild camels with one hump! (what????!!!!)

3. There are more than 150 million sheep in Australia, and only some 20 million people (ROFL...i will be an asset to them in increasing their population!) *jk*

4. The first police force in Australia was made up of 12 people. These 12 were their best behaved convicts(Hahahaha...how ironic!!)

5. John Batman, one of the founders of Melbourne in 1835, had the city named after him. Melbourne was known as Batmania that time(They should have just named it City of Gotham!...sounds decent!)

6. A resident of Sydney is called Sydneysiders( So wait...il be called a...*face is distraught*

7. Pubs occupy more land than the mines (I swear im not making this up!! lol)

Well...looks like me gonna have alota fun in that country! I love it already! hahahaha...

Lifes Good!!

Youth once gone can never come back! And i realized that im the kind of person who doesnt wanna look back and regretted of all the wonderful things that i could have done if only i was young! From getting into trouble with parents to achieving a scholarship in academics! I wanna experience everything in life!!!

Some people might wish to disagree with me...i dont blame them! Its highly subjective! I dont mind getting into serious trouble with my parents as long as i can look back and say...'damn..those were the good times!'....after all..i was taught that being street smart was better than being book smart! But then again...that can be subject to a high degree of debate! lol

Whether being book smart or street smart the whole point of that is to make sense of the small amount of time that we spend here as humans and what we call as life!! People come up with their version of how they like to enjoy life..let it be a quite, conserved and a homely life...or a wild, exciting and adventurous life. Both are not bad... as long as you loved what you went through.

Back in uni...i was taught that you might have come across some old people who are just pure nasty! All they do is yell, complain and grumble...apparently..the cause of that is because they failed to achieve satisfaction from their life...in sense..when they look back and reflect..there are very little things that make them feel like their lives are fully lived and so they become people in despair!!!!!!!!

And that day..i made up my mind that i dont wanna be a grumbling old grandmother to my grandkids...and so i decided to take on my version of what you call a good life...WILD!!! hahahaha...but i know sooner or later i am gonna settle down with kids and husband and still be happy with that life! *wink*

And heres to you....live life fully and have the best time of your life for the short time that your here!!

Waiting!

The worst thing in the world???

Waiting!!!! and specially when there is absolutely NOTHING to do and your just sitting there and waiting for someone or something!

Personally, i had this experience just today!! I went to get my hair relaxed and they applied the evil smelling thing on my head and i was stuck in my seat for like 1 million years!!! And then finally when the salon girl came around my heart jumped for joy!! lol

Even in everyday life, our patience is often tested and i know i react badly....VERY badly!!! coz as for me...i know i have very little patience...specially when i meet stupid people who are not sure of what they are talking about...i fly off the handle!

And sometimes its kids! Generally i love kids but there are those annoying ones who never listen to their parents and talk like they gave birth to their parents??? i feel like slapping them! (but then there is a child protection crap and all!! urrgh) kids these days!!

Or when you are waiting for someone online (dont get the wrong idea now! it can mean a friend as well! lol) and they never turn up and you text them saying 'I was waiting for you all day long online...where were u?' and they reply 'Oh sorry dude..i was held up with someting else'....*Grrrr* there is something called the telephone invented by Graham Bell( was that him!?  i hope so! ) why dont you call up and tell the poor soul who's waiting to go do something useful?? some people never get it!

But sometimes, it helps you reflect how patient you will be with life decisions! Will u be hasty (like me!!! ) or will you carefully weigh the facts and decide! (im trying to change btw!) Time lost can never be rewound so make the best out of the present and plan well for the future! coz there are lotsa people out there who wish they had a time-machine to take them back! *wink*

You Make Me Dance Like a Fool..Forget How To Breathe...Shine Like Gold

Whats the first thought that crosses your mind when you read those lines???? If u guessed... someone's in love..your right! and its none other than Uncle Kracker in his song Smile!

Love does exist everywhere, but finding the right one is just not that easy a task. You might believe that someone is The One...but life might wish to teach you another lesson entirely different altogether. Love happens! (yes it does! lol) but its not perfect....the person might not always make u dance like a fool but make you cry like a fool. The partner might make you forget how to breathe and sometimes it's because your sooooo angry with that one! And so the list goes on. Love is not easy an easy thing to keep...or let me word it proper...its not always a bed of roses and not always happy like Uncle Kracker sings.

Just the other day, i saw my neighbor, who happens to be a 15-year old girl, smiling and signing to the the next door boy. I thought to myself...'Oh yeah..ive been down that road babe...and it's not a good one all the time I tell u!'.

The thing is...you might think im a love-hater???? NO FRIGGIN WAY!! lol....relationships are the best thing that happen to human kind and it does make us happy...very happy at times. But I'm just saying...that they are not rainbows and candy everyday when you get into a serious relationship with someone who is just like you! Im just 20 (I get the feeling that i sound like a 40-year old woman!). And i beleive that i have a lot to see in life...but sometimes i think...'Are relationships really my-type, or is the timing just wrong??'. I just realized that men will be men and there is no such thing as the perfect man that every girl dreams of.

Every human has flaws and fights are bound to come into the relationship. But you've got to watch out when the fights make you soo unhappy that you start searching for affection elsewhere. Thats when you know trouble is brewing. So just be on the watch-out! *wink*

Well..i just happen to be listening to Uncle Kracker's Smile song and I thought to myself....those lyrics are only fit for fairy-tales. There are no such things as having the feeling of flying when your in love, or your appetite declines when you love someone etc etc.....The feeling of being in love just feels soo good that it makes you happy to such a great extent that some people like to exaggerate into sensations of flying, falling and so on and so forth!


But love is truly a great experience (so far from what i have seen)....but im sure maybe at least once, you would have had that feeling im talking about! The fluttering feeling, the feeling that you gonna faint when she/he asks you to their party whatever!! Somewhere down the line, all of us will experience /have experienced that!!
