Polar Opposites

Have you guys ever had that experience? One time u feel on the top of the world, and the next moment its all gone and u feel like ur so low that u cud reach to the core of the earth?? lol....well for the ones who have never had that experience, consider urselves lucky coz it is the most annoying feeling. Actually, it depends on the context! say u are really down and some news makes u go top of the world!!! now thats wt v call a positive emotion!

But, when the vice-versa happens, thats the WORST feeling ever!!! its like one moments ur flying soo high, and before u realize, there a pair of huge hands gripping at u and pulling u down!! urrrghhh!! u know wt i mean rite! ;)

However, thats what exactly happen to me today unfortunately! i was soo happy and laafing (prolly too much!! ) and the exact opposite happen to me during the evening! *sigh*

There is a saying among the tamil culture that when u laugh too much, ur bound to be upset(cry) proportionately. I used to dismiss this idea like the many ideas put forward by our tamil ancestors (where most of them are quite stupid to listen to!! ) . For example:

1. If there is a crow outside your house cawing nonstop, there is gonna be an unexpected visitor!!!
2. If a dog howls towards the direction of your house, there is gonna be a death!!
3. If you dream of feces, you will win a lottery!!
4. If your palm itches, you will get money falling on your hands!!
5. If you wear you clothes inside out, you will get new clothes!!

I will stop at 5, since it is my lucky number! *wink*....as u can see above some of them are absurd and dont make sense at ALL!!!! It was all a made-up story to comfort the person experiencing troubled feelings! (if you notice closely, most of the unpleasant feelings bring good luck miraculously! ). So maybe they were all created with a good-nature by some kind soul trying to comfort a troubled man.

But, sometimes i figured, there is no good outcomes if you experience troubled feelings. You have to just deal with it and get on with life!!!!! No one is gonna lie to you saying, "If you have someone is being unkind to you, there is gonna be showers of Gold!". As i said before....'just deal with it!'.
